Something to Say, May 2007

. . .
And/or the lack of something to say? Been a whole month. Next week I will hear back from the Edmonds Art Festival - see if any of my photographs were selected for the gallery. This morning I found some information on another local art show (in Port Townsend). It sounds interesting. I might give it some though. It doesn't hurt to try, right?

The low low-tides are upon us. This is a great time of year to get down to the beach. Exploring tidepools, identifying marine life and seaweeds is one of my favorite things to do. It also provides awesome opportunities for photographs.

Crash on the Straits, April 2007

. . .
One meets his destiny often in the road he takes to avoid it. -French proverb

Thank you strawberry14 for the suggestion of the title "Peek-a-boo" for my frog in planter picture. It was perfect! I submitted my three entries for the juried gallery earlier this week.

I messed up on my tax return. Guess what? The IRS actually corrected it, and it was in my favor! That was a nice surprise and a bit of positive feedback about the IRS, if such is possible.

I saw Arlo Guthrie last night! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, if you ever get the chance to see him: GO! He's just an amazing man, as are his children. The messages are good. The laughter is real. The energy is positive.

Layers of the Dosewallips, April 2007

. . .
The Edmonds Art Festival entry deadline is next Friday. Right around the corner. I can enter up to three pictures. I already have two picked out. I'm unsure as to a title for the following. Maybe you have some ideas/thoughts?

Here are some of my current ideas...
Frog in Planter
Planter Frog
Frog Hide
Hiding

Others?

Wishing you a Happy Easter!

Nobody, March 2007

. . .
*sigh* I just found out I didn't get a permit to stay in at the Enchantments this year. Kind of a bummer. I was looking forward to staying IN the basins. Next year maybe. In the meantime (this year), I have a long list of places I'd love to visit. Time to start planning...
